Individual Activity Report - Week 14

This week was a busy week for me. First, on Monday, I participated in our weekly group meeting online through AIM. Next, I came up with a design for our white paper. The thumbnail was due Wednesday, and I struggled to get it exactly how I wanted; I couldn't get an active sidebar similar to the white paper example (steak and sizzle one). I then proceeded to comment on my group members' thumbnail sketches. I liked features from all of them, but I believe that we should start with Adam Waters' as his has the sidebar that I was seeking to employ.

Last for this week was the research blogs. These were a little more time consuming than I thought, as I kept getting sidetracked with many different solar energy websites and information. I came up with three major topics that we should focus on: Photovoltaic Technology, Governmental Issues with Solar Energy, and Solar Radiation Maps that can be used to find the best available solar energy in the U.S. All my research will be helpful for the white paper, as PV technology is getting more efficient and governmental affairs are important for our topic.
