This week, each group member worked to complete their own section of the report so that everything could be compiled before Friday. After reviewing our individual drafts from last week, we realized that some characteristics weren’t covered for all products. Also, our formats were not consistent with each other. During the first couple days, I revised my rough draft so that the information was adequate enough for the reader to make an informed decision from our paper. Another member had included information about wireless data transfer rates in their section, so I had to find similar data for my own product. I also reorganized the content of my section so that it would be consistent with other members in the group.
After revising the text, I had to insert my graphics and complete my MLA citations. I made sure to crop each of my pictures so that the dimensions would all be the same and important features would be visible to the audience. Then I typed up my citations according to the MLA guidelines on the Purdue OWL.
Afterwards my draft was sent to Kristin to be pasted into our thumbnail template. When the completed draft of the paper was sent out, I proofread it and proposed corrections as necessary. Over the next few days I plan on working with the group to revise our white paper, based on comments from our instructors and classmates.
