English 421Y: Technical Writing Online

In week 15 the rough draft finally came together. I began the week by writing my section and putting all of the sources in the research blogs to use. On Monday, our group met online to decide the final structure of the rough draft. We decided to use Adam Water’s thumbnail and have an introduction, conclusions, and three important sections of the paper. On Friday, the group sent the paper to me for me to put the paper together and edit the large items. I began by creating a title page along with the basic layout of the paper using Adam Water’s thumbnail. I tried to keep the colors and layout consistent throughout the rough draft and kept a border around each page. I was trying to accomplish paper with a nice visual flow and something that was easy on the eyes. I ended up using green for the design color to serve as a symbolic item and a color that I neutral and easy to look at. After putting the paper together, I sent the paper to another group member to finish editing the paper. The paper turned out to be a nice white paper that was easy to understand. I can definitely see what items need to change for the final draft.
