This week our group’s main priority was to complete the white paper draft. In order to achieve this, we had to organize our approach and deliver accordingly. I began initiating the process by emailing everyone on Monday. The first thing I suggested we did as a group was to choose a thumbnail design and divide the work properly. Through a series of replies we decided to work on individual portions of the white paper relative to the research everyone has done.
Bobby and I had similar discussions during our research. We both focused our material on possible wind energy alternatives. Bobby looked into technical data and wind turbine performance on specific models. And I focused most of my research on different companies that offered domestic wind turbine technology and what they had to offer potential customers. A lot of our material overlapped, so Bobby and I decided to work together and deliver both the “Wind Energy Alternatives” and “Performance” deliverables. But because our research did not exactly match, we had to adjust accordingly. Therefore, I did further research on two more companies that Bobby already looked into, Bergey BWC Excel and Enviro Energies Mag Wind turbine. After compiling the necessary information, Bobby and I were able to submit our portions in parallel.
