Crunch time was the underline theme for our white paper project this week. I had finish doing most of the research for my topic with Firefox and started grouping my research information together. I then created an outline of Firefox features that would be consider important/useful for our targeted audience to present to my group.
Throughout the week I kept in contact with my group members about solutions with our white paper. During the course of the week we had meetings in figuring out exact details of what to incorporate in our white paper, the order of material and the graphics. While discussing our initial design thumbnails, my fellow group members thought my design outline would best suit our topic. After everyone had posted their outline material I was given the task to format the information. Unfortunately, I had some problems that occurred during the processes that hinder the final outcome of the rough draft. I had created the design in Adobe Illustrator to give more of a design feel to the white paper. However, I had place some effects that made the file size large enough to have problem uploading onto the website. I later had to go back to each page and change the compression option to meet size requirements.
I think everyone is doing a great job on keeping in touch and making it to all the meetings. Having everyone post all their information in a timely matter has helped in our editing process and making sure it’s what we want to present.
