Individual Activity Report (Week 4)

For this week’s deliverable, I spent most of my time gathering relevant information for my part of the rough draft. At the beginning of the week we got together on AIM to discuss the objectives for our rough draft. I chose to write about the OpenText ECM Suite. I scrolled through my list of credible sources and collected any information and visuals I thought would work well in the white paper. As I wrote my section, I tried to envision the visuals into the writing. This created a problem, however, since our group had yet to come to a decision on a final format for the document. With this in mind, I just submitted my written part separate from the visuals to Justin for when he pieced our rough draft together. I quickly attempted to put together my works cited, but I had forgotten how to write them for the particular documents I had been looking at.

I tried to assist Justin with the rough draft by pointing out some spots that needed to be corrected/changed. I quickly looked over our rough draft when it was submitted to make sure it was fairly consistent throughout. We did not attempt to modify much due to the fact that our format is still up in the air. With the rough draft created and submitted, we can now look at our research as a whole and figure out what needs to be added, removed and rewritten. This next week will involve multiple group meetings as well as an overall revamp of our white paper.
