English 421Y: Technical Writing Online

For the final week of the class, I mainly focused on finishing up the final draft for my part of the white paper, which mostly involved adding in a few places with real life examples to show how a certain feature or part of my device may be used. So instead of just listing things like my router has a SPI firewall, I worked on explaining how having an SPI firewall will allow a user to be more secure. Also because of multiple changes we all made during the week both in the formatting and content of our paper, I also went through it just checking to make sure all the sources and footnotes were still in the correct order and that they corresponded to the appropriate citations in my section. Also along with the work in my section I helped Kristin by reading the her revised drafts making sure that they were consistent throughout the paper with things like serial commas, using only single spacing after sentences, etc.

As well as finishing up the final draft for the white paper project this week. I also filled out the Project Evaluation form for the project, which was the last thing I needed to do for this class.
