For week 2 my group started the week off with a group chat on aim on Sunday. During this meeting we discussed how we wanted to divide up the work for the rest of this project. We decided on how we wanted to divide up the different parts of the white paper as well as who would be responsible for posting any of group documents for the remainder of the project. We decided on what solutions for wireless networking we wanted to include in the white paper, and which group member would be doing the research on each solution. The goal we decided on is to show the strengths and weakness of each solution as well as implementation of that solution.
After receiving our instructor feedback on Monday, we realized we needed to change our targeted audience and the subject of our paper. The subject we picked, an ideal solution would probably be some combination of the three,as opposed to each solution being mutually exclusive to one another. After reviewing the feedback we decided to change our targeted audience to a salesperson looking to buy wireless routers for a company, instead of a person setting up a home wireless network. We also changed our subject to picking different routers and comparing the pros and cons of each choice.
During this meeting we also started working on the gantt chart that was due this week. While making this we decided on what time frames we wanted to accomplish some goals by. We figured out when we wanted to have the different parts of the white paper done so we would have time to assemble it before the rough draft is due.
During the rest of the week. The gantt chart was finished and posted by Joe. And each team member started their research for their research blogs.
