Here is my press release, feel free to comment. Bryce
The readings for this week were very interesting and were very closely related. The reason I say this, is because if the executives at Jet Blue would have read the article on business ethics and the Luntz article, they may have been able to avoid the chaos over Valentines Day.
Attached is my employment project. This is my final draft..enjoy.
The job that I chose to apply for is an O&M operations site supervisor at the Johnson Controls facility in West Lafayette, In. There are many reasons that I feel this job is right for me. First all, Johnson Controls is a global company that focuses on growth. This is appealing to me because I know that I want to work for a company that is moving forward and not backwards. Secondly, this position fits in very well with my major. Since my degree will be in OLS, and I have concentrated on manufacturing, this position will sit very well with me.
Here is my resume. Any comments would be much appreciated. Thanks Bryce
Upon completing the resume extravagenza, I have come up with five resumes which deserve a call back. The five resumes are 5,9,14,16 and 20. There were many factors that shaped my decision, but the first item that I looked for was something caught my eye. Each of these resumes had something that caught my attention and intrigued me to read on. As I read on, I found that each of these candidates, were sufficiently educated and set themselves apart from the rest by doing unique. By unique I mean an interesting internship, volunteer work or possibly an ambitious class load.
fter reviewing the text, I have come to the conclusion that English 420 is centered around creating professional business documents. The book seems to be more of a guide of how to create these documents rather than just paragraphs of information. The text book will help with this class as well as in the business world. I hope to be able take the information provided and use it to construct business documents when called on to do so.

The Jet Blue article that I chose depicts some of the ramifications that occurred after the Valentines Day meltdown. Three months after the meltdown, the CEO of the company was replaced by the company president. The CEO did not leave the company, but stepped down to play a more strategic role. The board and CEO agreed on this, and believe this is the best move for the company. In his new role Neeleman is trying to save the company from another 30 million dollar mistake.
