Not a fan of all the boxes. I think that it really hurts the flow of the paper. I think that they would make the paper much harder to read. It also wastes lots of white space. I also think that our white paper needs to have more color in it. While the diagrams you use are colorful, we aren't going to be able to count on all of our diagrams being colorful. You do have the start of a 2 column layout started but as I said earlier the boxes really break up the flow from section to section.

Kind of Choppy

I agree with Andy, the layout kind of make it have a choppy feel to it. It almost seems like I am reading a magazine article rather than a white paper. I do like the column effect, but it needs a little more flow. With the top box I would be unsure as to what was supposed to be read next. On the same topic it looked a little cramped, maybe have a little more space between the “columns” would help. I did like the graphics; they had a lot of color and were easy to read. And I am assuming the second page was for your own use. I didn’t mean to bash you or anything, just being honest. Feel free to tear mine apart.

Agreed..

I agree that your thumbnail seems to lack structure or any consistency throughout. I am not sure if you intented for table borders to be viewable, and thus the text boxed in, but it doesn't seem appropriate. I would take a look at the sample white papers that the instructor provided to get a better grasp of the typical white paper design and what we're actually going for here. I think that these samples are very good white papers that do a great job at balancing white space, providing document consistency, etc. As for the headings, I would recommend making them stand out less and reducing their size. Again, I would take a glance at the sample white papers to get a better idea of what were aiming for.
