I like the layout and I believe we have a similar idea of where to go with designing our white paper. I feel the issue will be with the picture layout in our paper design. I noticed you had the picture blend in with the text of the topic 2. While I like the idea it feels that the picture is crowded into the text. With some space I believe it would look better. I like how you added side notes to the margins of your paper. Having notes will be useful for the user when they read our white paper.

For the most part, I agree with Jeff’s comments. Arranging the picture so that it is inline with the text makes the content seem cluttered. Also, the amount of white space surrounding the picture seems slightly insufficient, to me. I also agree that the subheaders should be isolated from the opening sentence of each section. Personally, I think this thumbnail theme could benefit by underlining the subheaders and inserting a single return after each, to make the start of a new section more readily noticeable. However, the margin notes that you’ve included are well laid out and I like the concept. Also, the color scheme is simple yet effective. Finally, the white space of the entire body works well to promote readability and the overall flow of the white paper.

Great job on this

Great job on this thumbnail!

I will start out by saying that I agree with the others in regards to the image, we probably won't want to wrap the text around it, at least not that tightly. I do like the usage of the notes on the left, these could be used to identify certain important aspects of our topics. In regards to the overall formatting, I was thinking that maybe the header should be left justified and it may also be a good idea to include a page number on each of our pages. I do like the color usage of Blue and White, I wonder if this will be a possibility in our final design?

Thanks
