I really liked how you did the color lines under the headings. Even though that sounds stupid I busted my brain trying to put those lines in color and I really think that would work for our project. One thing that your image reminded me of is that we should probably give the pictures Figure numbers and titles. I do not know if that is the proper way to do it but if we are going to source those pictures that would probably be an easy way to show the readers where we got the pictures. Overall I think your thumbnail layout is pretty good.

I agree with Dean about the colored lines under the heading. It just shapes up the document and makes it look complete. The figure numbers and chart/table titles will also serve a greater purpose because we can refer to them in the body of the white paper in a concise manner. My interpretation of how we are going to have to set the white paper up is that there will probably be more figures and charts/tables than actual complete sentences because we want to show different regions and their energy usage.

I like the use of color too. It’s real simple and subtle, but just including that little bit of orange makes the layout look more professional. I definitely agree that we’re going to need to include figure numbers. We’re probably going to reference our tables a lot, so figuring out how to label them will be important. We should probably do some research to figure out the proper way to do this. I’m guessing we would follow APA guidelines for a technical paper, but I’m not sure.
