English 421Y: Technical Writing Online

The following is my individual report of work from April 20 through April 26.

This week began the final deliverable of our white paper. Since this was a group project we decided to split the writing up into portions and then work on these portions independently. The portion that I worked on consisted of information about current methods of power production and the power infrastructure that is used to distribute the generated power. For the most part the information discussed was about the negative impact that the power generation and infrastructure have on the environment. Although I was writing my portion independently, I did have to exchange emails with my other group members in order to ensure that my work would fit in well with the other portions of the white paper. After writing my portion of the white paper, I read over it an ensured that it was free of spelling and grammatical errors.

In addition to the writing that I completed, I also had to do some additional research. Although I had completed the majority of my research in the prior week there was still some minor research that I had to complete in order to effectively write my portion of the white paper.
