Subject: Group 2 Activity Report – Week 16

This week has been used to wrap up all of the loose ends of our white paper. We are now left with a white paper that we can proudly turn in. We began this week by reviewing suggestions left by Nathaniel in regards to our white paper draft. After reviewing these suggestions, we made various changes to our white paper. One of the biggest changes made this week was the addition of the executive summary, introduction and the conclusion. Initially we had a basic form of an introduction but we now have a very distinct executive summary, introduction and conclusion. Another big change that took place was the addition of citations. This was done to help eliminate the concern of plagiarism. For this work, each group member was in charge of going over their parts and adding proper citations as needed. Several of the parts in our paper were balanced and standardized. This helped to decrease the bias of our paper and aided in the comparison of the different types of wind turbines. Several sentences and paragraphs were changed to make the paper seem less like a pitch. A minor change that was made was the inclusion of captions on the pictures that did not previously have them. After each person had revised their portion of the white paper, they sent their portion to bpoleary. Bpoleary then combined all of the work, ensured that it was written similarly and then submitted it. After several week of collaborative work we now have a white paper that effectively informs our audience of the technical aspects associated with wind turbines. All in all, we are proud of our hard work and hope that it shows in our white paper.
