English 421Y: Technical Writing Online

The following is my individual report of work from April 27 through May 3.

This week, I have aided in the completion of our group’s white paper. For the most part, I wrapped up some loose ends of the white paper and followed the suggestions provided by our instructor. One of the suggestions was to include citations. In order to do this I looked over my notes that I had taken while researching wind turbines. This made it easy to recall where I had found certain information and to give the sources proper citations. For my citations I chose to put them into APA format. In addition to the citations, I also worked on the executive summary and introduction of our white paper. In our draft there was no executive summary and a very weak introduction. So I created the executive summary from nothing and helped expand our previous introduction.

In addition to my contributions towards the completion of our white paper, I put together our group’s group activity report. In order to do this I reviewed all of the email that had been made amongst our group. After reviewing these emails I was able to accurately document the progress that our group had made for the week.
