Resume

One of the first things that

One of the first things that impress me about your resume was the organization tactics. Everything is uniform to each other which makes you look professional. The organization of your resume goes in hand with how well you layout your information. It made it very easy to find exactly what your looking for on your resume. By having an effective layout, the information is well balance with negative space at the top, sides, and bottom Your header is at appropriate size, font, and style in relationship to everything else. In addition, your resume passed the scanable resume test with flying colors.

There were a few areas that I saw that might need some possible adjustments. I notice you did not have an objective statement on your resume. I would consider creating an objective statement to help convey what job you want and how your will serve the company. Try to make your leadership section in reverse chronological order(Risk Manager first on the list). My eye just automatically goes directly towards the bottom of the list because, of the additional experience of Risk Manager. Some optional things you could adjust is state your expected graduating semester. This could help employers figure out when they might need you. By putting down key course classes, is a great idea. You could go into detail about the experience in those classes and what you learned.

Overall, your resume is very good. I really had a hard time finding areas to critique it in. Some of the advice might seem small, but hope it was helpful.

Resume Critique

Doddy, overall this resume is well-organized and has many good traits. The main thing that stod out to me is your use of different fonts and boldnesses to set apart headings and the rest of the resume. I believe this is very important to help the reader's eyes flow from point to point. Your resume passes the column test perfectly, as each column is straight, not crooked. The related coursework shows the reader what has helped you achieve knowledge in your major.

There are a few things that I think you could change to better your resume. First, I think the education section should be put at the top. I have not seen many resumes that list this section at the bottom. Another thing that I believe could really help is having your job titles and school listed in italics or something that sets it apart from the bullets. This assists the reader's eyes follow the flow of your resume even more. I am not sure about this, but to me it looks like your last bullet in each section is slightly smaller than the rest of the them. I had to zoom in to 1000% to make sure. I'm not sure many people will notice this, but detailed people may.

Despite the few opinions I have about the resume, I believe it is well organized and flows nicely. You have a great use of experiences and showing leadership skills that pertain to your major. This will help land you that interview.
