It seems like you've got a solid start here. I would point out that these documents appear to be at 8.5 x 11 dimensions, and as the project page states, we expect you to use the appropriate dimensions for the task (this is a design issue). If it's appropriate for these works to be in 8.5 x 11 format, that's fine. From what you describe in your Proposal, it may indeed by the right format, if people are intended to print the instructions out and follow along as they use eBay. The key is to think about the individual needs, expectations, and values of each audience group, and consider the circumstances under which they'll be using your instructions. Let these considerations guide your choice of format and structure. You don't want a program's default settings to make these design decisions for you.

thumbnails

When I first saw your thumbnails I thought they were really well organize and easy to follow. I think you did a good job in your tailoring your layout thumbnails for your different target audience. It's a great idea how you design your novice thumbnails with the steps in bold for a easy step-by-step process. As you created in the expert instructions you left that attribute out due to consideration of their experience.

One thing you might want to incorporate in your screen shots is creating arrow with each given task. I think it will make it more effective for the user to comprehend.

Great Job!
