Thumbnails blue for headers/steps and black for the text within the headers/steps. The headers/steps are "Univers" font and the body/figure text uses "Consolas". Dimensions of the novice instructions are 11 in H x 5.25 in W for the beginner to best align with the graphics and be able to free up monitor space so you can reference the instructions while performing the action on the same monitor. The expert instructions are 11 in H x 6.25 in W for less need of graphics and because it is not meant to be referenced back and forth from the process as much.
Graphics include screen captures of the installation process and program use. I put three sample graphics into a pdf
Graphics and Thumbnails instructor feedback: secolema
Overall this seems like a solid start. There are only two things I would point out. The first is that these documents appear to be at 8.5 x 11 dimensions. As the project page states, we expect you to use the appropriate dimensions for the task (this is a design issue). If it's appropriate for these works to be in 8.5 x 11 format, that's fine, but you don't want a program's default settings to make your design decisions for you.
The second thing is that currently the instruction sets seem quite similar. This may not be an issue, but keep in mind that you are targeting two discreet groups with individuated needs, expectations, and values. You want to keep your designs user-centered rather than system-centered.
Clear Images
I like how you picked blue text to help set off your steps. The blue flows well with the color in some of the images too. You may want to make sure that your images are as clear as they can be. Some of your images look rather fuzzy. I think if they were just displayed a little smaller it would help. I liked how you circled parts in your images to make it clear what the user is clicking. With the images cleared up some I Think you have a good start on your instructions.

uTorrent feedback
Your thumbs show a good start. However, I think you need to work on spreading your text and pictures out a bit. Utilize the white space to help the flow of the instructions. Maybe think about adding some lists on the side of possible torrent sites. Are you going to be including in the instructions a section about ports? I think this should be addressed and maybe include some steps about how to configure the port using the most common routers...ie Linksys, D-Link or NetGear. The pictures will be very important to the beginner, so make sure you have a lot and also that they are legible.
