Getting Started...

This week, after completing the weekly readings assignments and individual tasks pertaining to white papers, I was introduced to all of my group members via email for this classes final project. We used this opportunity to brainstorm concepts and ideas for white papers that we could create, and eventually decided upon the topic of sustainable energy. Our group felt that this was a topic that we could find plenty of information and sources on, and that through our research we could eventually construct a very strong and informed white paper.

We next spent some short time discussing our route of choice for this project, and exchanging available time schedules to locate suitable meet-up times. For online conversations, I think Google Docs and likely AIM messenger will play an important role in communication and exchange, as they're much more efficient and speedy than email. Currently though, per our discussions, actual physical meet-ups will probably work best for exchanges and for making sure that every thing gets completed to the satisfaction of everyone else.

We plan to join up early this coming week for an onsite introduction, and to begin farther progress with our white paper. At this time, we also plan to divide up tasks more explicitly.

Focus on you

Nigel,

In the future, be sure to focus these on the work you done. If you don't, your contributions to the group will not show-up as strongly. Being able to concretely demonstrate the work you have done is an important professional skill.
