Individual Activity Report- 1

The first week of the white paper project I introduce myself to the group member by email. Throughout the collection of emails we discuss what roles we should take part of during the project. I was elected to take control over the graphics and design elements since my major is Computer Graphics Technology. In addition to the graphically work, I will also conduct research on our topic and take part in editing.

During our meeting using Google email chat we brainstorm ideas for our project. Our group decided to do our white paper on the topic of conserving energy and going green. We want to focus on simple and cheap/ free solutions that college students can use in their dorms or apartments. The three topics that we will focus on are using electricity, heating/ cooling, and laundry solutions.

I have already started brainstorming ideas for our group gantt chart due next Wednesday. I also took 15 minutes to make myself more familiarize with Google doc/email/chat. Our group decided to use gmail instead of our Purdue account so it's will take me awhile to get use to checking my Google email account.

Everything went rather smooth this first week and I hope it will continue like this throughout the duration of the project.

Make sure that you explicate your statements, such as: "I have already started brainstorming ideas for our group gantt chart due next Wednesday." What did you come up with? Right now, this statement doesn't give the reader much data. You want to be specific, especially because your group mates will be reviewing these blogs later as a record of your contributions to the project.

Also, make certain that you proofread your reports. Each document that you produce is a component of your ethos. Group members will evaluate these reports later in the project, so you want to make sure that they represent you well.
