Like I said earlier, I was pretty impressed that you turned this out of Word 2007! I always have trouble making it put the lines where I want them, etc. I particularly like the lines/rules you used in here, and think they'd be a good thing to incorporate into our final draft. My only critique is that I think it might be better to use a serif typeface for our body font. I just think it's easier to read and the serif will also help to further distinguish the body text from the headers and subheaders in our final white paper.
I agree with Kristin about the lines. They really give a good physical layout and section off well. As we discussed earlier in the meeting, as a personal preference I think a color change would help. The purple just seems to me like it is a different, lighter color in the thinner lines around the photo than the thicker header and subheader words. I also think that the setup of two even columns would work well with our project. The bulleted list fits well for things like comparisons between routers and specification of individual routers. All in all I think this is going to make a good choice for some of the large elements of our white paper.
Overall I think it is a pretty solid design. I do have to agree with Kristin though on the fact that you could change the text to a serif font and I believe it would help out the design. Also I think the two column design is a good one and could be a good thing to include in the final design of our white paper. The bullet points also seem like a good way to incorporate the various attributes of each routers, but to actually compare the different routers, I think a table or some sort would be easier for a user to look at and tell the differences.
