Joey, I like the layout of your thumbnail. I mainly see this thumbnail for the first page of the project. I think for us to actually compare the phones towards one another we will have to have more subtitles discussing things such as operating systems, hardware, software, etc. Another thing I would suggest would to have an opening paragraph having an overview of what phones are being discussed and what is being compared to each phone.
Overall, I think that you have a good start for the paper's thumbnail; maybe with combining the best features of every ones thumbnail we will have a really good one.

Joey, this looks good so far-as Zeb said, with our powers combined (Cpt Planet) we should be able to come up with a great thumbnail. I like the page number, Zeb had it too, but I totally didn't even think about it.

Having two columns like you have with the text and the pictures, I think, is the way to go. It really helps to make it easy to read and follow.

Your footer gave me an idea: instead of putting it there (I have references in that spot on mine) maybe we could do a large block text with a fading gradient fill along the side margin with the text rotated...I don't know-just thinking.

Anyway, looks great.

Let's mix things up a bit

I think your layout is quite clean and easy to follow. It would be great to add some sections that tie all of these phones together. We shouldn't have a white paper that can simply be split into 3 by drawing a few lines. There should be parts that discuss and compare phones to one another in the same paragraphs.
