I like your two column design with this white paper. The use of the two columns and including the chart in the text helps to make this paper look a bit more balanced. I’m not sure that I’m a fan of the page number being in the top left corner but that is minor and could be changed. I like the use of the quote. This would allow us to pull out important points and place special emphasis on them. I think this is a layout that would definitely work for us. I think with a small change of where the page number is located this would work great.
Jack, I really found your thumbnail to be best appealing to the eye and logically formatted. Your use of colors and formatting made the document easy to follow and seemed it would be the best choice for our project. I think the two column design will benefit best and make the information the easiest to read. I also enjoyed the enlarged quote, kind of a neat idea on how to highlight something important possibly. I also like that you added figure labels to make them easier to reference in the actual text. This will make it easier for readers to follow what we’re referencing.

I also like how you have the quotation in the right column that helps point out majors ideas that need to be understood. Putting the footer is also a nice touch, even incorporating the seal with the Purdue name. It helps bring about a sense of credibility about ourselves to our readers. All in all this is a very nice draft.
