After this week, week 13, our group is making great progress toward our White Paper project. This week mainly concentrated on making the gnatt chart as well as researching and combining our thoughts on our topic. Also, we have divided up the how the research was going to broken up.
Deciding who was going to make the gnatt chart, kind of fell into place. Since this week a couple of us were busy with other school projects. HiggsBoson (Scott Stella) took charge and created the gnatt chart. He designed a couple of layouts and then posted them on our common place (Microsoft Llve) in a .xlsx (excel) format as well as .pdf. After all of the group members analyzed the charts, made their corrections, and decided which one they liked better, Scott posted the chart on the class web page.
The other part of this project for this week was the research and deciding who is focusing on which part. The main parts we are researching are: cost, usability, reliability, hardware features, software features, and customer service. Joey is taking charge of the hardware features and additional costumer research. Emil is looking into operating systems, hardware, rankings, and support. Zebulon is researching on the public opinions, rankings, and why people are choosing the phones. Doddy is researching support and customer reviews. Scott is planning to look at usability and reliability of the phones. After all of the data is collected we are going to start looking at putting the information together and syncing information so the wording flows smoothly and easy for the audience to compare all of the phones.
Overall, our group is doing really well or communication with each other is excellent. Everybody is responding promptly to each others ideas and thoughts. Our project is being shared evenly and shaping up nicely.
