English 421Y: Technical Writing Online

This report is the summary of my individual progress toward the White Paper project. This week is primarily objective was to complete the final draft for the White Paper Project; starting from last Monday (April 25) to today (May 3).

During this week starting from Monday (April 27th) to today, Friday (May 1st), our group has primarily worked on editing the rough draft and making a final version of the White Paper.
This week moved very quickly, leaving no time to wait around. At the beginning of the week the group agreed to read through the comment on our rough draft. We were encouraged to look at our paper and see what we could individually improve on. Most of the problems were within the grammar and in text citing resources. In addition there were a few more additional problems that our group addressed.

During this week starting from Monday (20th) to today, Friday (24th), our group has primarily worked on creating the rough draft of the White Paper.

This report is the summary of the progress toward the White Paper project, mainly working on the research and creating a thumbnail; starting from last Monday (April 13) to today (April 19).

Continuing from last week we each had quite a bit to work on this week. Most of it was working on the research and creating thumbnails and writing a reply for each of the group member’s thumbnail. For our group we already had the lists of what parts of the research each of us were going to analyze.

In my 3 research blog I wanted to find another source of information that can contribute to having all 3 phones being reviewed against one another. I think a public opinion showing all of the features with all 3 phones at once would be better than trying to cross reference each phone to get good comparison if the audience is trying to decide which carrier her or she wants to go with.
I used Google as my search engine and searched “Compare Iphone + G1 + Blackberry Storm” I came up with a variety of links. I found this link to be a comparison of all 3 phones.

While searching through these more websites I wanted to find more information comparing the Iphone and the G1, the android. I found a couple good sources that are also video feeds of direct comparison without being bias.

My part of the research is to find the public opinion of each phone and to make this information available to the reader. Not really giving a bias opinion of what people have said, but to give the reviewer a chance to get a good feel for each phone and how they compared.
