Attached is my business letter, please give me some ways to make it better, thanks. Also does anyone know what page business letter info is in the book?
I really liked the readings about rhetoric and writing and the different contexts that you must write in. I don't really ever think of who is going to be reading what I'm writing or what type of context I should write in, but after reading these chapters I will start to. It's important to put yourself in the readers shoes and try to think of how they will be reading your writing and any questions or thoughts they might have. In doing this you can put together a better writing and you will make it easier for the reader to enjoy and understand.
Any comment or suggestions are appreciated, thanks.
I think Jet Blue handled the unfortunate in a pretty affective way. There are only so many ways that you can apologize to your client and try to make sure that they will continue to use your services. I thought the Customer Bill of Rights is a good idea on their part. It's important to show that you care about your clients and that you are just as upset as them at the events that happened.
Here is my employment final project attached as a pdf file.
I have attached my resume and look forward to any helpful hints or tips. Thanks.
I found it to be very hard to only spend about 30 seconds per resume since there is so much different information in a resume. I do understand now why the recruiting people can only spend that much time looking at each one. If you read every word for every resume that showed up on your desk you wouldn't have time to do any other work. This was a good activity because it gives you a good chance to see how other people are writing their resumes and how you can make yours better.
For some reason I can't figure out how to attach my resume so I just copied it below. Sorry for the inconvience, any helpfull comments are welcome. I do have some bold words and stuff but they didn't show up since I had to copy it.

My favorite of the Ten Habits of Successful Emailers is number 3, "Take some time to edit and revise your message before sending it". I rarely remember to do this and it can and probably will cause some negative results if I don't start revising my emails before I send them. I don't know if anyone else thinks like this but I feel since I'm just emailing a professor and not talking to them face to face I don't have to write in a certain manner.
