I believe that the Jet Blue crisis was effectively handled by the management given the circumstances. We need to consider that prior to this unfortunate incident, Jet Blue was an example for other airlines for their customer service standards. It was the first time that anything like this happened. I would like to give them some props due to couple of reasons. The situation was caused due to extreme weather conditions and later on due to government regulations on crew and aircraft flying times.

I havent really used a cover letter in my job search process. This actually is the first for me so I would definitely appreciate some feedback.

I think we should all be pretty familiar with most of the material covered in the textbook on emails by now. A specific thing that I really feel is worth mentioning is the advice on never reply to an important or for that reason a harsh email immediately. We should always think thoroughly and calmly before replying to something that aggravate our emotions; in result could cause us to respond inappropriately.

JOB ANALYSIS
This position is for a hedge fund accountant with one of the biggest capital management firms in the world with respect to the amount of capital they manage. I am particularly interested in this position since it caters to both the fields that I want to specialize in i.e. Accounting and Finance. Also, from my research of the company, the potential for growth in this firm is tremendous and I think, if chosen this is the perfect time to start a career with this firm.

I think the content covered in the text is very important for effective professional writing. As future employees for various companies, we should all be very comfortable with the material. It is important that we are not only familiar with the text , but we should be very comfortable in applying the knowledge we gain from the text and I think that can be obtained from a lot of practice and also effective feedback and critique.
