Here's my video:

The video is kind of comical. They people who put it together were obviously making the best out of a bad situation. They took footage of them as the day was going on as they were stuck in the airport and delayed and had flights cancelled. I bet the camera made the day less boring because they had something to do. Then when they got home they edited it with funny captions and such. I think once you get past the joking film makers they were probably pretty upset about the situation, and rightfully so.
JetBlue's crisis is an interesting situation. I still do not exactly understand how this extreme problem could happen to such a large airliner. Storms happen everywhere and it's strange that any airliner would not have plans for when such situations arise. I don't think JetBlue acted in an effective way. They obviousl delayed many people and caused a great backup of passengers. The most effective thing is to have everyone fly out on their designated flights at their designated times. This isn't always practical, but would be ideal.
Attached is my final project for the employment project.

This article is interesting because it gives a slightly different perspective on the situation. We learn in this article that after this fiasco, the company predicts a loss for the first quarter. The company had originally predicted a significant gain for Q1 and this shows what a blow this problem was for the company.
This assignment was more challenging then I thought that it would be. I didn't expect to have so much trouble making judgments based on resumes. I thought it would be relatively easy and I thought 10 minutes would be plenty of time. I guess I was wrong. It was hard to draw a conclusion about whether the person would be good for a job in such a short period of time. I bet a lot of these people would be great at the job and i didn't pick them. I also think some of the people that I picked might not be the best person for the job.
Email is a wonderful tool. It lets us communicate like never before. However, with every new form of communication, new etiqutte is required. I think it is important to address the correct way to write an email in business. We are so used to using email casually that we forget that it sometimes needs to be professional. I use email to talk to my parents when I'm at school and my friends when they are at work. I also use it when I'm at work to contact employees at different offices and coordinators at different companies. It is the greatest work tool ever.
