Work blog week #8

The beginning of this week my group was very busy throwing ideas back and forth for the final draft. We look back over all the comments we received since the first draft and then looked over our project to see which changes made the most sense and any other changes we thought would make the brochure better. I suggested everyone take a close look at the comments given to us from the CFRC. I also told everyone to make a list of changes they felt should be implemented so we could review our lists before making changes to the draft.

Tirrell Group 2 Final Draft

Here are our final drafts.

**Edit
We were having trouble with one of our colors while converting to .pdf format. I could not determine why, but finally found a way around it. I'm updating to reflect this change. Nothing has been changed since the deadline except the problem caused by the .pdf conversion.

Work blog week 7

This beginning of this past week we spent a good deal of time looking at or original draft and getting it redone and ready to submit for a second time. Rachel did a wonderful job re-designing the brochure and I was really impressed with the way she managed to take the information in our original draft and make it neater and more concise. We had spent a while taking in comments on our draft and discussing changes through email before she sent us out the version she had been working on. We then went through it and made our own comments and made small changes.

Both our grayscale and color are attached. We have a few tiny issues but we think it's improving quite a bit.

HINCHCLIFFE Work Blog Week 6

This week my group worked on putting together and revising our brochure draft. My main priority was to gather and organize the information for the brochure along with Suchet. I went ahead and opened the documents and links for our project and found the information that was needed in the brochure, all in one Word document. I organized the information as I saw appropriate and talked to Rachel and Keeli about it as I sent it to them. They were taking the lead in coming up with the brochure design, which we decided would work best as a trifold.

Reading response 6 - whinchcl

Finishing up the reading has really helped me start thinking more about my groups draft and how we put it together. Some of the principles from the readings have already beeen incorporated into the draft, some of them subconsciously. Other principles could probably use a little more thought, and can be used to make our brochure even more effective.

Hinchcliffe Work Blog Week 5

In our group this week we started out with introductions, sharing who we are and where we are for the summer. We shared contact information and are still working out the best way to communicate which will probably be all hammered out before Monday rolls around. One of our members, Suchet, is all the way in Singapore and thus 13 time zones away. This was kind of a shock and will require a little more effort than the usual 1-2 hour time gaps between members. It just means we need to communicate effectively and stick to our plans so we don't fall behind and can't contact someone.
