When I was researching for new developments in hydro power, I stumbled upon small hydro power units which I covered in my second research blog. For my third research blog I wanted to go more in depth about what small hydro power units that were available today.

GoogleApps for companies.....!
The completely mobile aspect of GoogleApps is a feature that separates it from SharePoint.

As discussed in my previous research blog, GoogleApps is gaining popularity, but with the unreliablity of current internet connectivity many companies won't rely on it completely. I decided to look into the technological aspects of Google Apps.

My initial research has been in regards to the technological aspects of Sharepoint and what a company would require to utilize it. I think followed that research with research on some of the possible alternatives and what they might require to utilize.

Last week, there was much discussion about the audience whom we were focusing our white paper to. We went from the general category of political leaders, to lawmakers and policy makers, to American energy policy makers, and finally cabinet members of the US Department of Energy. We decided this week to focus the paper to Steven Chu, who is the US Secretary of Energy. Secondary readers will likely be his cabinet members. Having a specific person in mind when drafting our white paper will help us imagine how specifically he will use the white paper.

In my 3 research blog I wanted to find another source of information that can contribute to having all 3 phones being reviewed against one another. I think a public opinion showing all of the features with all 3 phones at once would be better than trying to cross reference each phone to get good comparison if the audience is trying to decide which carrier her or she wants to go with.
I used Google as my search engine and searched “Compare Iphone + G1 + Blackberry Storm” I came up with a variety of links. I found this link to be a comparison of all 3 phones.

My next bit or research focused on the types of issues that may arise from implementing open source in a school. I hope by knowing what types of problems may arise that I will be able to know what to look out for. This will help us to address some concerns that may be raised by the readers of our white paper. I hope that we can address these concerns before the readers get it in their mind that this may not work for them. There are 5 key questions that were raised in an article I found. The first one was about how will your current systems be compatible with the new systems.
