This week was spent researching nuclear energy and deciding how I wanted to incorporate it into my section of the white paper.

Group Activity Report Group 4

The group was very productive this week. Everyone conducted much needed research which was very beneficial in making this project a success. Early this week there were emails passed among the group and we discussed the plan of action that we were going to take in order to get the rough draft completed. What we decided on was that everyone in the group was going to type up about a four-hundred word document and submit it to Zephyrus so he could put it into a template that would make up our rough draft.

There is much work to be done regarding our white paper. Although we each believed we were fully aware of how to compose our respective pieces, it turned out that we each differed a little in the specifics, which in turn lead to formatting issues and general inconsistencies. Furthermore, in the final draft we will include significantly more supplemental images and data tables, as well as a works cited.

Group Report (4)

This week was crunch time. Everyone did their best to meet tonight’s deadline so we could have a good base for the final draft. Group communication continued to be strong throughout the week, with everyone having a say in the direction of the project. After a lot of writing, revising, and formatting a solid rough draft has been produced.

This week was spent researching and compiling the rough draft for the white paper. We started off the week with a meeting on AIM to discuss how we wanted to proceed for writing. The group decided to have a brief introduction, explanation, costs and benefits, drawbacks, and environmental consequences for each type of energy.

Adam decided that smart grid technology didn’t really fit with the concept of nuclear, hydro, and solar energy and would probably make us go over our limit for the paper.
