The brochure I found has many elements of graphic design which puts emphasis on one another. Proximity is a big factor in this particular brochure. Not only is there a very distinct blue hue on the front cover, but it is rather large compared to the other components. The plain colors of the background also make it stand out more which also goes for some of the other pages as well. The element of alignment acts as a tool for the reader and by this I mean it leads the eye from one piece of information to the next with ease.
I found a brochure with information about the 2007 Jeep Commander. The first thing I noticed was the color schemes. It is a very colorful document and provides the reader with an abundance of pictures. Obviously this is what the designer had in mind so that it will encourage readers to want to purchase this vehicle. Since I currently work in the auto industry, I have scene what works and what does not when it comes to sparking interest. This brochure is a fine display of something that would interest the average consumer.
The brochure that I found it attached and can also be found at:

This link actually contains two separate brochures made by the company Merial. Merial is a company that produces products for pets. These two brochures are for Heartgard and Frontline. I am going to focus more on the brochure for Frontline in my reading response.
The brochure I found is about green scaping issued in the public interest by The United States Environment Protection Agency. I my view this is a perfect example of a lively and attractive brochure. There is so much freshness in it, predominantly created by the pictures added. The pictures are very well suited to the theme and the purpose of the brochure.
The brochure I found was for a golf benefit 4-player scramble tournament at the Colovista Country Club in central Texas. The first thing that caught my attention is the context. I feel I was bias toward this brochure because I am a big golf fan. Another aspect I found visually appealing was the background. It was an image of a golf ball rolling just short of the cup on the green. I feel this was a perfect choice for a background because even if the texts was sub-par, the reader would know the brochure's main focus was on the game of golf.
I wanted to provide some notes on the Service Learning Project that may answer questions arising in the groups. First, I can see from my email box that you are actively trying to contact each other, and that you all have very busy schedules that are difficult to coordinate. Email and instant messenger are both good tools, but we have also instituted wiki pages that allow each group to post content that members of the group can read. I see some of you are taking advantage of this, and I recommend all the groups use them to post comments, messages, and files.
The brochure that I found online was very creative and well designed. The opening page of it really caught my eye and made me want to read on and find out what they had to say and what it was about. My brochure that I found was for HP Business Technology, it is about shifting your focus to the business side of technology.
