Thumbs and Graphics :)

JFlitt's picture

Hello all!

For some reason my pdf printer decided to make the backgrouns look all textured on my numbers in my graphics, please disregard this as it does not look like that in word and doesn't look like that when actually printed, it is actually a solid color!

Thanks Smiling

Installing EMG 81 Guitar Pickup Graphics and Thumbnails

Notes:
Since I do not have a loose EMG 81 guitar pick up set, I will create an illustration of each step. The novice instructions are straight forward to the point. At some steps of the installation, there is a yellow star at the bottom of the instruction frame that will indicate an expert step, which will guide to more difficult process. In my sample expert I showed a rough example of that will look like.

I just gather all my reference photos into one jpeg image.

With my instructions I am using 7.5 x 10 paper for both my novice and experienced. For the novice i am trying to islolate the steps with boxes. Trying to make the appeance less intimidating. Using attrows to help guide the novice through the steps. For the Experienced I am having the instructions steps seperated by horizontal lines, and being easy to follow. Both documents are going to include photos to help guide the user through the steps.

Purdue iPhone Services: Graphics and Thumbnails

My instructions will be presented as an ASP.NET website, primarily formatted via CSS. Each individual service that I cover will reside on its own page. The name of the service will represent the page's title and leading header (the 'Headers' section in the attached PDFs). Each individual process will have a screenshot (provided by a native iPhone utility) and its own header similar to the 'Subheaders' section. The separate steps of each process will be enumerated and any sub-steps will be indented below the number.
